Getting the most out of classifieds

Baltimoresun.com's classified system is designed to make it easy for you to search and browse classified ads from the past two weeks.

After you've searched for a particular category or keyword, you'll be shown a list of ads matching your criteria. Each of these ads has a checkbox. Clicking on this checkbox will allow you to mark individual ads -- or groups of ads -- for further action. Once the ads are marked, you can:

Mail the marked ads to yourself for future reference
Mail the marked ads to a friend
Print the saved ads from your portfolio

It's important to remember that your collection of temporarily saved ads is automatically emptied when you quit your browser or restart your computer. You can, however, leave SunSpot and visit other sites, then come back to find your temporarily saved ads in your collection. But once you quit your browser, they're gone. If you want to be sure you save the ads, we recommend you use option #1 above and email the ads to yourself for safe-keeping.
