Talk about it: Local concerts

From the Baltimore Sun

Do you agree/disagree with our critics? What are the best/worst concerts you've been to recently?

Michael Buble concert last night .I was embarassed for the language and choice of words that Michael used while on stage. I love his music, but found his show unsettling as he referred to one fan as a "racist". I know he was joking but the humor was not appreciated by the fans.

The Trip was the absolute best show I have been to in years. They played Fletchers back in August and I am definitely excited for Recher Theatre on September 18th..This is a must see Baltimore area band.

I absolutley loved the Jonas Brothers concert last night. It was amazing and set up well. The boys looked and sounded there best and I personally do not agree with the review, but that is O.K. They are amazing people and Demi was a great opener!

I was at the RUSH concert last night at the nissan pavilion. These guys are timeless. They played new songs as well as old favorites. A treat for all who attended>

I was disappointed with the James Taylor concert at Pier Six last weekend. I would much rather listen to him sing his own songs, not other people's songs, but he is back on that detour.

The ( Heart of The City tour ) was of the best concerts I ever been to and to me is probably one of the best ever. The 2 of them made the perfect pair. Mary killed the show. I haven't seen her since her and Biggie went on tour back when the movie " The Show " had come out.

The concert was amazing...regar-dless of what your stupid article says. Both artists have exceptional talent and really put on a show. Stop being so critical appreciate the artists for what they are.

Thought Carrie Underwood had a fantastic stage presence, but I agree the music sometimes drowned out her gorgeous voice, which was a shame. Keith Urban's guitar playing electrified the whole place. Unlike your critic, I found his voice every bit as rich, nuanced and thrilling as his music.

Best of Both Worlds, regardless of what R.Kelly has done in his life..Hands down he is an excellent performer..Alth-ough he may bring a young female crowd(lol)..Mos-t of them were conceived off of his lyrics, R.Kelly is a performer, writer, artist, entertainer, and very creative individual..
