Arundel Habitat for Humanity's renovation station in Pasadena, also known as the ReStore, is seeking volunteers ages 16 and older for sales, stocking and receiving merchandise, picking up donated merchandise, scheduling volunteers, planning pick-up routes and phone work.
The Renovation Station, 8101 Fort Smallwood Road, raises funds to help build more Habitat homes in Anne Arundel County.

Arundel House of Hope, which provides services to the homeless in the county, is seeking volunteers for administrative support, transportation to and from appointments, job counseling and life skills coaches, computer maintenance help, and people to serve on the board of directors.
Additional volunteer opportunities vary by location but include facilities maintenance and repair and grounds maintenance.
Donations of food and clothing items, cleaning, office and kitchen supplies, paper products, toiletry items, landscaping tools, and more are also needed.

Providence Center, which provides employment, vocational, recreational, retirement, medical day care and transportation services to developmentally disabled adults, is seeking volunteers at the following sites:
•Arnold: pottery and horticultural assistants, activity center and Baldwin Industries woodworking aides and "friendly visitors."
•Millersville: activity center and arts class aides, crafts, wood shop and pottery assistants.
•Pasadena: senior program assistant.

The Chesapeake Ecology Center, which provides environmental education and develops habitat restoration/protection projects, seeks volunteers to help with planting and maintenance.

The Friends of Colonial Players are seeking volunteers to work in the box office, usher at performances, build and paint sets, serve on the stage crew, make costumes, handle properties, help with lights and sound serve as stage manager for shows, and arrange parties and other socials.

The Glenwood Senior High-Rise in Annapolis, which is home to frail elderly and people with disabilities, is seeking volunteers to help residents with daily living tasks, go to the grocery store, assist with chores, make repairs or just visit.

The Helen Avalynne Tawes Garden & Shop in Annapolis is seeking volunteers to help with planting, watering, weeding and mulching.
Year-round programs need chaperons for field trips as well as assistants for nature programs. Shopkeepers are needed for two-hour shifts on a weekly or twice-monthly basis.

Partners in Care, which links seniors to volunteers to help with transportation and handyman tasks, is seeking volunteers to serve as drivers, handymen, ride dispatchers, Health Watch installers and boutique workers.

The YWCA West County Family Support Center, which offers GED tutoring, English as a Second Language instruction, computer training, and child care and meals, is seeking volunteers ages 16 and older to serve as tutors, child care center workers, food preparers and cleanup crew and interior painters.
