Edgewater school to reopen after fire
South River High School in Edgewater will reopen today after an apparently accidental fire damaged a computer server room at the school Wednesday night. Workers cleared debris yesterday and replaced the server that operates the school's computer system, said Bob Mosier, a spokesman for Anne Arundel County schools. County schools were closed yesterday in observance of Yom Kippur. A group of parents was meeting at the school when the fire was reported at 7:06 p.m.; all got out safely. The fire, caused by a server malfunction, caused nearly $100,000 damage.
