Northeastern Baltimore
Shooting A man was shot in the ankle in the 1500 block of Sheffield Road about 9:15 p.m. yesterday and was treated at Union Memorial Hospital. Details of the shooting were not available.

Eastern Baltimore
Shooting Police were seeking whoever shot a man during an incident about 7:30 p.m. yesterday at Ashland Avenue and North Chester Street. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where his condition was not available. Detectives were investigating the shooting, and details were not released.

Northern Baltimore
Stabbing A man, 49, was standing outside a bar in the 2700 block of Greenmount Ave. about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday when he was attacked by a man who pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the upper left leg. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital. No arrest had been made.

Burglary Someone broke into a house in the 1100 block of Bellemore Road Monday or Tuesday and stole a cell phone and two laptop computers. Police said the property was valued at $2,800 and that three dogs in the house at the time of the burglary did not deter the intruder.

Southern Baltimore
Robbery A man, 55, was walking in the 200 block of Cambria St. about noon Monday when he was assaulted by a man who robbed him of his wallet, a set of keys and a watch.

Robbery A boy, 11, was riding his bike in the 3000 block of Huron St. about 2 p.m. Monday when a youth knocked him to the ground and stole the bike.

Theft/arrests Two women were arrested Monday evening when they attempted to leave Wal-Mart in the 2700 block of Port Covington Drive without paying for health products and other items valued at $306. Detained by a store security officer, held for police and charged with theft were Lorraine Thomas, 43, and Vantia Thomas, 30, both of the 200 block of E. 25th St.
