Central Baltimore
Robbery A woman, 58, was walking in the 100 block of W. Lafayette Ave. about 4 p.m. Saturday when she was assaulted by a man who stole her purse containing $100 cash, credit cards and personal property.

Rape An 18-year-old female student at Maryland Institute College of Art reported she was raped in her off-campus apartment early Friday by two men who had helped her to look for a ring she lost earlier that morning. After inviting the men to her apartment, the student told police the men raped her and then drove off in a black BMW. Police said the student did not report the rape until early Saturday and that she was examined at Mercy Medical Center and released. No arrests had been made.

Theft A briefcase containing business papers was stolen Saturday from a 2002 Jaguar parked in the 100 block of W. Franklin St.

Theft A man entered Beadazzled in the 500 block of N. Charles St. about 1:30 p.m. Saturday and stole nearly 70 silver rings valued at $9,000.

Theft A .40-caliber semiautomatic handgun was stolen between Friday and Saturday from a 1989 BMW parked in the 200 block of E. Fayette St.

Theft A laptop computer valued at $1,500 was stolen over the weekend from a 2000 Mazda parked in the 800 block of N. Howard St.

Theft Someone broke into a 2008 Chrysler parked in the 700 block of N. Howard St. on Friday after shattering a window and stole an iPod valued at $200.

Northern Baltimore
Robbery/arrests A man was walking in an alley in the 500 block of E. Cold Spring Lane about 7 p.m. Friday when he was assaulted by a man and a teenage boy who robbed him of his wallet. Later, police arrested bothsuspects and charged them with unarmed robbery. Their names were not available.

Southeastern Baltimore
Burglary A guitar and video games, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Saturday from a house in the 300 block of S. Washington St. by someone who entered through the front door.

Burglary Two large-screen TVs were stolen from a house in the 1900 block of Bank St. between Aug. 7 and the weekend. The TVs had a total value of $6,000.

Burglary Someone entered a house in the 2100 block of Bank St. through a window over the weekend and stole a laptop computer valued at $1,000.

Theft A man, 68, was standing in the 200 block of S. Broadway when an unknown male reached into the victim's pants pocket and removed $80.

Burglary A .32-caliber revolver, gold jewelry and a gold watch were stolen from a bedroom dresser of a house in the 3700 block of E. Pratt St. between Aug. 19 and Saturday by someone who entered through a kitchen window.



Baltimore Co. – Towson
Robbery try About 10 p.m. Friday, a man, 30, was walking in the 6600 block of Loch Raven Blvd. when three younger males exited a four-door Mercury and demanded his money. When the man said he had none, two of the attackers struck him with guns and then robbed him of his car keys. The trio did not steal the victim's car.
