Police reports in Baltimore city and county

Eastern Baltimore
Stolen vehicle A purple 1999 Dodge Stratus with Virginia tag JKU1843 was stolen Tuesday in the 400 block of S. Patterson Park Ave.

Theft Someone removed copper tubing from at least six exterior air conditioners at the Great Blacks in Wax Museum in the 1600 block of E. North Ave. early Tuesday.

Assault A man, 39, was working at a house in the 800 block of N. Milton Ave. about 9 a.m. Monday when he was attacked by another man armed with a hammer, who struck him several times with the tool before fleeing. The victim sustained a broken finger and was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Northern Baltimore
Robbery/arrest A man, 18, was walking in the 4600 block of York Road about 8 p.m. Tuesday when he was assaulted by several youths, one with a handgun, who robbed him of his cell phone. Moments later, Officer Vicente Class observed suspects near the scene, and after a brief foot chase, he arrested Courtney Sanders, 19, of the 900 block of Argonne Drive. Sanders was charged with armed robbery but was not the youth who was armed, police said.

Southeastern Baltimore
Burglary Someone broke into a house in the 3400 block of Leverton Ave. through a rear window Tuesday and stole three rings, a jar full of coins and a box of .45 caliber bullets.

Theft A cell phone was stolen Tuesday from a 2007 Chevrolet parked in the 6200 block of E. Pratt St.

Baltimore Co. – Essex
Burglary Construction equipment and tools valued at nearly $2,500 were stolen between Monday and Tuesday from a house in the 1400 block of Maple Ave. by someone who entered through the front door.

Baltimore Co. – Pikesville
Burglary Appliances valued at nearly $3,000 were stolen between Sept. 24 and Tuesday from a vacant house in the 6000 block of Updale Court.
