Shooting A man was shot about 9 p.m. yesterday as he walked from an alley in the 2000 block of Booth St. near Calverton Road. A taxicab driver told police he drove the man to the alley and while waiting for the passenger to return he heard several shots. The victim was taken by ambulance to an area hospital. His condition and details of the shooting were not available. There was no arrest.Northern Baltimore
Shooting Police continue to seek the person who shot a man, 27, in the back shortly after noon Tuesday while the victim and his 3-year-old son sat in the man's car in the 900 block of Belgian Ave. Police said the car drifted and crashed into a building. The victim was reported in serious condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital. The child was not injured.Robbery A man who implied he was armed with a handgun robbed Payless Shoes in the 1000 block of W. 41st of a small sum of money about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Robbery A woman, 36, was standing at an ATM outside the Bank of America in the 500 block of Venable Ave. about 6:46 p.m. Wednesday when a man robbed her of $100.
Robbery Police continue to seek a man who robbed a woman, 63, of an undisclosed sum of money while she stood at an ATM in the 5600 block of The Alameda about 11:45 p.m. Tuesday. After robbing the woman of her money, the man drove off in her 2006 Toyota Highlander. The vehicle was recovered later near Mondawmin Mall in West Baltimore.

Theft Someone entered a 2008 Lexus parked at Franklin and North Charles streets Wednesday after shattering a window and stole $20.Theft A 2007 Lexus was parked in the 300 block of W. Fayette St. Wednesday when someone entered the vehicle after breaking a window and stole $30.
Theft An iPod valued at $200 was stolen Wednesday from a 2007 Lexus parked in the first block of St. Paul St.
Baltimore Co. – Cockeysville
Robbery/arrest A man was stealing items from a shelf at Rite Aid in the first block of W. Timonium Road about 6:20 p.m. Wednesday when a 23-year-old female employee attempted to stop him. The man assaulted the employee and fled. Arrested a short time later near the store and charged with assault and robbery was Wayne Jones, 46, of no fixed address. The employee was not injured.Baltimore Co.- Pikesville
Burglary Someone entered an apartment in the 3600 block of Valley Terrace through a ground-level rear door about noon Wednesday while a female occupant was home and removed two laptop computers from a dining room table.Burglary Five catalytic converters were removed from five vans parked at American Solar Tinting in the 5900 block of Liberty Road by someone who entered the property after cutting a fence. The converters were valued at $2,500.
Baltimore Co – Wilkens
Burglary A TV, video games and a DVD player were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 2000 block of Hammonds Ferry Road by someone who entered through an unlocked door. Total value of the property was $2,000.Burglary Someone entered High's dairy store in the 1000 block of Maiden Choice Lane in Arbutus Wednesday after shattering a glass door and stole a large quantity of cigarettes.
Burglary A van was parked on a fenced-in lot in the 100 block of Azar Court Aug. 6 when two men removed its catalytic converter valued at $1,500. Police were attempting to identify the men who were caught on a surveillance camera in the act of the theft. The burglary was reported Wednesday.
