Southeastern Baltimore
Shooting A man was shot in the leg about 7 p.m. yesterday in the 500 block of N. Milton Ave. and was taken by a Fire Department ambulance to Johns Hopkins Hospital. Details were not available.

Western Baltimore
Carjacking A male, 17, was about to enter his mother's 2008 Lexus parked in the 600 block of N. Schroeder St. at around 1 a.m. Sunday when a gunman exited a Pontiac occupied by at least one other male and forced the teenager into the Pontiac. There, the victim was robbed of an iPod, a watch and was forced to undress in the car. After forcing the teen from the Pontiac, one of the assailants drove off in the Lexus. The car has tags 05183M3. Police observed the teen walking down the street and interviewed him There were no arrests.

Central Baltimore
Theft An EZ Pass and a vehicle registration card were stolen Sunday from a 2008 Toyota parked in the first block of E. Lanvale St.

Theft A 2006 BMW was parked in the 200 block of W. Read St. Sunday when someone removed both tags. The tags are 7EG H73.

Assault Two panhandlers were arguing over 50 cents in the 200 block of W. Chase St. about 6 p.m. Sunday when one bit the other on the right hand, then ran away. The victim, 47, was treated at Maryland General Hospital and released. No arrest had been made.

Theft A purse containing eyeglasses, checks and car keys was stolen Sunday from a Honda sport utility vehicle parked in the 100 block of E. Centre St.

Theft A handicap placard with number 463049 and several pieces of clothing were stolen Sunday from a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer parked in the 400 block of St. Paul St.

Burglary A DVD player and several DVDs were stolen between Sept. 20 and Sunday from an apartment in the 1700 block of St. Paul St. by someone who entered through a bedroom window.

Northwestern Baltimore
Arrest An 18-year-old male was arrested Monday by members of the Regional Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a warrant charging him with attempted armed robbery. Williams Myers, of the 2800 block of Sunset Drive, is charged with trying to rob a motorist at gunpoint in the 3700 block of Clarks Lane on Sept. 11 after the victim gave him a ride from North and Greenmount avenues. During the incident, the assailant fired one shot that shattered the vehicle's window. Myers was being held at Central Booking and Intake Center.

Eastern Baltimore
Robbery A man, 48, was walking in the 2400 block of Ashland Ave. about 6 p.m. Saturday when two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed him of $270.

Theft Someone broke into a 2003 Toyota Camry parked in the 400 block of E. Chase St. over the weekend and stole a cell phone and a purse.

Theft/arrest A man, 46, was arrested Saturday when he attempted to leave Stop, Shop & Save in the 1600 block of Harford Ave. without paying for a jar of spaghetti valued at $2.89.

Stolen vehicle Police were seeking a 2002 Dodge Stratus with tags MYX 197 that was stolen over the weekend in the 1900 block of Boone St.

Northern Baltimore
Robbery/arrest A man, 36, was leaving the Giant food market in the 600 block of E. 33rd St. about 8:30 p.m. Sunday when he was stopped by security officer Gary Highsmith. During a struggle nearby in the 3200 block of Old York Road, the man tried to stab Highsmith with a sharp object, but was restrained. In the man's clothing was seafood valued at $146. Arrested by Officer Jean P. Nolet and charged with theft and assault was Johnny Hood, of the 400 block of E. Federal St.

Robbery Police were seeking two men who robbed another man of $50 in an alley behind the 300 block of E. 31st St. about 1 a.m. Thursday.



Baltimore Co. – White Marsh
Robbery Two boys, both 14, were walking across the parking lot at White Marsh Mall in the 8200 block of Perry Hall Blvd. about 7 p.m. Sunday when they were assaulted by five teenage males who robbed them of two cell phones and cash. The assailants drove off in a gold car.

Robbery A deliveryman for Papa John's Pizza was in the 6700 block of Linden Ave. about 11:20 p.m. Saturday when three men robbed him of a cell phone and his wallet containing an undisclosed sum of money.

Baltimore Co. - Essex
Burglary A jackhammer valued at $800 was stolen Sunday from a shed in the 500 block of Middle River Road.

Baltimore Co. - Parkville
Burglary Two Honda dirt bikes, a chain saw, chest pads and a weed eater were stolen between Sept. 23 and Sunday from a shed in the 13200 block of Glen Arm Road.

Baltimore Co. – Franklin
Burglary Jewelry and a suitcase were stolen over the weekend from a house in the 500 block of Timber Springs Court by someone who entered through a rear window.
