Police investigate assault, kidnapping in Timonium
Baltimore County police are investigating an armed robbery, kidnapping, sexual assault and carjacking that started at the parking lot of a light rail station in Timonium on Saturday and ended in Baltimore City. County police were contacted by city officers at 2:30 a.m. regarding two girls who were kidnapped at the Timonium fairgrounds light rail station at Deereco and Padonia roads, said Cpl. George Erhardt of the county police. The victims, whose names were not released, were taken by their attackers to the Cherry Hill neighborhood in the city, where they contacted police. Erhardt did not release further details because the investigation is continuing.
