Reimer continues to miss the point
Obviously, columnist Susan Reimer still doesn't get it ("Gloves came off when column came out," Sept. 5). Apparently, she doesn't understand why hundreds of thousands of people saw fit to check out her hate-filled column "A woman - but why this woman?" (Sept. 1) on The Baltimore Sun's Web site or why more than 8,000 people commented on the column and 700 people sent e-mails to her and 50 people called her on the phone.
Her response to this tsunami of outrage?
No regrets. No apology. Just self-serving indignation: "The things that were said about me ... were beyond the bounds of decency."
