The following year the Virgin Music Festival became a two-day summer concert event, attracting about 70,000 fans. The lineup at Virgin Fest has included The Police, Velvet Revolver, Amy Winehouse, The Beastie Boys, Smashing Pumpkins and The Killers. In addition to the 40 mainstage performances, the event features a Freak Lounge, art installations, roaming bushes, Charm City Roller Girls, batting cages and a skate park. Virgin Festival 2007 tickets did not sell out the 120,000 capacity, but Branson said he expects the festival to grow in the coming years. In addition to Virgin Festival Baltimore, Virgin Mobile also holds Virgin Festival Canada and VFest UK.
