Caron Butler is a small forward for the NBA's Washington Wizards. Butler began his NBA career when he was selected with the 10th overall pick to the Miami Heat in 2002 NBA Draft. Prior to being drafted by the Miami Heat, Butler played for the University of Connecticut Huskies. Butler represented the United States and won a gold medal at the World Championship for Young Men Tournament. He earned honorable Mention All-America honors from the Associated Press as a sophomore, and he also led the Huskies to the Elite 8 of the NCAA basketball tournament.
